In this edition - opening play - the focus is on the ideas of open money and the LETSplay game as a means to explore those ideas. Our purpose is to open conversations between open minds, to provide the basic understandings that allow intelligent discussion, to show you how to think this through.

The next edition - opening operations - to be published in mid June, will concentrate on what it takes to get real with virtual money. It will detail how the open money domain name system will be introduced in Japan, nationally, regionally and locally, and how that will enable anyone in the country to open a community money account.

And of course it will look ahead to further developments in jomp, particularly the "opening moves" in preparation for launching open money into the mainstream of the Japanese economy.
